The Township has a packed agenda for its next meeting, including a proposed data center ban within the Township.

The full agenda is available here:
The meeting is set to "follow the Board of Health Meeting", which starts at 7:00pm.
Highlights include:
Open Space - Updates on preservation of Rock Road West properties
Storm water - Several ordinances related to the new State Storm Water ordinances
Data Center Ban - A proposed ban on Data Centers which seeks to "EXPRESSLY PROHIBIT DATA CENTERS AS A PRINCIPAL, CONDITIONAL, OR ACCESSORY USE IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP".
Environmental - Assimilation of the recycling committee into the Environmental Commission
DOT Grants - DOT grant resolutions for improvements to Williamson Lane, Rose Run & Steeple View Court; Goal Hill Road Section 1 & Chimney Hill Road
Public Referendum Question - Public Question to the Voters Concerning Open Space,
Farmland & Recreation and Historic Preservation Trust Fund Tax Levy. This involves potentially reducing the open space tax since the Township has so successfully acquired so many open space parcels, and open space funds are very limited in how they can be applied
Conflict Construction Code Official - "Appointing Construction Code Official as Conflict Construction Code Official for Delaware Township". No idea what this is!
Cannabis - Recommendation to Opt Out of Cannabis. We assume the recommendation comes from the Cannabis Committee.
Zoning - Resignation of Zoning Official S. Rodnizak
Administrative Agent - Proposed hiring of of an admin agent for Affordable Housing
West Amwell School Sale - The school sale was approved, at a significantly reduced price from the original price point
Tort Claim - A tort claim has been filed from Chubb Insurance against the Township.
In all, the major themes we see this year in the Township are:
Continued focus on zoning issues
A large number of resignations has definitely impacted the Township
New hires, unrelated to the resignations mentioned above, seem to be sharply increasing
