About

The West Amwell Times is a news, information, and analysis web site all about West Amwell, NJ and our surrounding communities. The WA Times is an entirely volunteer effort, consisting of local residents with a deep desire to connect with and inform the larger community. We are a unique news source that will deliver new perspectives on living in our fabulous rural Township.
The goal is to provide a central information source for those of us who live, learn, work and play here. This includes helping residents understand and navigate the Township Government, including budgets, public meeting agendas and minutes, documents and major issues of the day, and doing the same for our local school district, and exploring hot topic new items relevant to living in West Amwell.
We will discuss and provide information about the surprising number of major issues that have faced our tiny town. From past issues such as fighting the PennEast Pipeline, to the never-ending battles against over-building basic infrastructure and preserving our small, rural community to the latest issues of PFAS contamination in our water, affordable housing mandates, warehouses, and cannabis facilities.
